You’ll work directly with clients and learn from partners and associates while being empowered to contribute your ideas and solutions.

Open Studio Culture
We believe in big ideas and applying insight and expertise across projects. Our teams combine long-term client engagement with an open, collaborative culture. With office space designed to facilitate communication and interaction—while preserving space for critical focus and creativity—we value democratic input and problem-solving.

aDvisor Mentoring Program
Our established employee mentoring program, aDvisor, allows new hires to choose an experienced mentor to help guide you through both career pathways and goals as well as your arcDESIGN experience.

High-Impact Projects
Clients trust us with their most complex, high-profile work, and you’ll have the opportunity to contribute regardless of your level. We provide structure and guidance through partner- and associate-led teams and mentoring, then give you the tools to make a real contribution. From high-tech laboratories to historic adaptations of cultural spaces, our firm works on the leading edge of Indiana architecture and design.

Work-Life Balance
You don’t need to choose between outstanding work and a satisfying life. At arcDESIGN, we’re committed to putting people first, whether that’s going the extra mile for a client’s vision or making sure our employees have time for family and community engagement. Our people are some of the nation’s top talent, but they’re also parents, coaches, volunteers, marathoners, pet owners, teammates, and classic car enthusiasts, among other things. We work hard, but we play hard, too—together and in our communities.

Giving Back
Our philanthropic program, arcCARES, helps us use our talents to benefit the community. Work on projects that speak to your passions and interests—community centers, museums, facilities for disabled children, fair housing, cultural centers—we actively seek input from our staff on ways to apply our expertise toward good causes.
