Eskenazi Health has partnered with arcDESIGN due to our expertise and focus of helping them put patients first. This has led to numerous projects, including the award-winning West 38th Street Community Health Center. This facility makes primary healthcare more accessible to the patient simply by its location within the community it is intended to serve. It is the first of many prototypical facilities for Eskenazi Health that will be a “one-stop-shop community center that also provides healthcare.” The building not only contains a wide variety of healthcare services, but a full service cafe, numerous classrooms and community rooms. arcDESIGN has also worked extensively with Eskenazi Health’s Midtown Mental Health Group on projects which have restructured their approach to Behavioral Health Care. Through the design of an outpatient Crisis Intervention Unit and Inpatient Psychiatric Unit within Eskenazi Health Hospital, an offsite Crisis Respite Unit, and multiple outpatient and day therapy centers, arcDESIGN is committed to helping Midtown Mental Health improve the mental health of their patients with comfortable, safe environments.
