A LEGACY PASSED DOWN
Greg Miller
As a child, Greg knew his father was an architect, but didn’t really understand what that meant. At the age of eight on a cold Sunday afternoon in February of 1976, he walked with his dad through an addition to their church that he had designed. As his dad stared for what seemed hours at a jumbled mess of wood structure, Greg got up the nerve to ask him what he was looking at, to which his dad replied, “ I have to draw the contractor a picture so he knows how to build it.” At that point, Greg connected the sketches and drawings that came out of his head to the built environment which he occupied. Today, Greg serves as Senior Project Manager, bringing expertise in long range planning, renovation/historic preservation and institution design to arcDESIGN.
