The renovation of Health Sciences included updated mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. Additionally, the central bay of the southern elevation of Health Sciences was modified to include a curtain wall to bring natural light into the facility, and a new brick façade with windows was installed on the northeast side of the complex where it connected to since-demolished buildings. The project included Installation of two new 65,000 CFM air handling units as a part of the first phase of converting the HVAC system from dual duct with electric heat to variable air volume with hot water heat.
